We are happy to share you a last poem written by Fr. Mike Bassano, a Solidarity member based in Malakal (South Sudan).
The Bishop elect of Rumbek Diocese, Christian Carlassare, Comboni Missionary, was shot by two gunmen at his residence in Rumbek.
Asked about Pope Francis visiting South Sudan, Archbishop Ameyu expressed confidence that Pope Francis will visit South Sudan when the time is ripe.

Solidarity with South Sudan is always promoting the gender equity, and this is clear in each project.
The Solidarity Teacher Training College closed in March 2020 and sent students home, obeying the government decree for all education institutions to close at the start for one month. One year later we lament with the rest of the country that so much time has been wasted.
