Solidarity Teacher Training College (STTC) in Yambio, South Sudan, has launched an outreach program offering basic computer skills to about 80 primary school children from the neighborhood. Classes are organized in the evening from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The student-teachers make use of this opportunity to develop their teaching skills in ICT, part of the national curriculum. “Our student teachers, under the guidance of Sister Shu Fang, conduct the classes… Through this program, the college not only shares its resources and knowledge with the children, but also builds good relations with the people around,” said Br. Christopher Soosai, FSC, STTC principal.
