Small Gestures, Big Love for the Earth at the Riimenze Kindergarten

A special morning at the Saint Dominic Nursery School in Riimenze, part of the Sustainable Agriculture Project promoted by Solidarity with South Sudan: children, teachers and staff joined in a precious gesture of love for our planet. Armed with small self-made brooms made from leaves and branches, the children enthusiastically participated in cleaning the surrounding spaces. This activity, which turned into a joyful game, had a twofold purpose: to take care of ‘Mother Earth’ and to teach the children how a clean environment is essential for their health. A small seed of environmental awareness planted in the hearts of the children of the Riimenze community!

If you want to support the kindergarten and the children of Riimenze stay tuned on our social channels. In two days we will launch a campaign just for Sustainable Agriculture Project in Riimenze!

The Saint Dominic & Savio Nursery School in Riimenze currently hosts 357 children, offering them a comprehensive education and a welcoming environment where they can learn, play and socialise under the guidance of qualified teachers. Their days include lessons, recreational activities, movement and creative experiences, as well as a daily hot meal prepared with local produce from the school’s own crops and the farm of the Agriculture Project of Solidarity.
