Rising young leaders in the Diocese of Torit

The Diocesan Youth Leadership Conference, an event that brought together 96 young men and women under the motto: “Called to Lead and Serve with Creativity and Commitment“, has come to a successful conclusion.

It was not just theory: through experiential learning and team challenges (such as the ‘Tower Challenge’ and ‘Blindfolded Navigation’), the young people tested their problem-solving and collaboration skills. A significant moment was dedicated to the participatory review of the Diocesan Youth Constitution, a sign of great maturity and sense of belonging.

Working in teams taught us patience, trust, and unity. We are now ready to serve our parishes better” said the participants. Thanks to the support of Solidarity Pastoral Service and the Bishop of Torit, Monsignor Emmanuel Bernardino Lowi Napter, these young people return to their communities as true agents of peace and reconciliation.
