Solidarity attended the annual meeting of Misean Cara and the celebration of its 20th anniversary in Dublin
Solidarity has been an early example of Pope Francis’ call for a synodal process “to walk together, listening to the Holy Spirit and to each [church] member, since all the baptized have an instinctive ability to discern the new ways that the Lord is revealing to the Church.”
“Synodality”, from the Greek, means to “journey together” and the point of synodality is to converse together in order to discern, not the will of a democratic assembly, but rather the will of the Holy Spirit for the people of God.
