On International Nurses Day, we honour the invaluable work of nurses globally.
In celebration of International Midwife Day, as part of the ‘ Change Stories’ cycle, we present the touching story of Aniue Agnes, a midwifery student at CHTI in Wau whose determination is leading her towards the realisation of her dream.

Starting 3 February, Wau in South Sudan will host a two-year Inservice training programme for 30 primary school teachers, aimed at ensuring quality education and meeting the growing demand for qualified teachers in the country.
On this day dedicated to education, we remember that education is a basic human right. By supporting the training of nurses and midwives at the Catholic Health Training Institute in Wau, we help build a healthier and more just future for the most vulnerable communities.
