| Solidarity with Sudan—in collaboration with the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas—recently organised a transformation workshop in the Diocese of Tombura—Yambio. Recognising the vital role women play in society and the impact of trauma on their well-being, this workshop was designed for women between the ages of 15 and 45. The event was facilitated by experienced psychologists from the East Africa Institute of Professional Counseling. It was hosted at the Pastoral Centre in Nzara, Yambio, from 18-26 April 2024. Participants engaged in transformative sessions focused on trauma healing, conflict resolution, anger management, and violence prevention.
