The Yei Diocese successfully held its first Youth Eucharistic Congress from 11-14 August 2024. This transformative event brought together young people from across the diocese, promoting spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of the Eucharist. The three-day Congress was attended by representatives from nine parishes with a total of 62 young people. Despite the high level of interest, many others were unable to attend due to problems such as long distances and poor road conditions. The Congress is part of the Diocese’s strategic plan to strengthen and improve youth engagement by promoting active participation in Church activities.
