On 27 May, the Solidarity Teacher Training College (STTC) in Yambio opened its doors to over a hundred teachers, head teachers and education officials for a memorable Open Day!
The day was filled with engaging presentations on the value of education and our certification and diploma programmes. Visitors explored the campus, from the library to the dormitories, and were impressed by the excellent facilities and high standard of teaching. Highlights included inspiring testimonials from some students and an exciting celebration of Zande culture with a group of dancers. The support of key figures such as Mr Peter Mbia, Director General for Education and STTC board member, and Mr Hosea Nyemuyo Enosa, Senior Inspector for Teacher Education and STTC Diploma graduate, reinforced the event. We are thrilled with the response: applications for admission for 2026 are already very encouraging! The Open Day will become an annual event.
