At 50 years old, Mary Elsam not only takes care of her parents, but also her grandchildren. Her life, and that of the children she loves, has changed thanks to the practical training she received from Solidarity with South Sudan, which gave her the knowledge to feed her family and her community.

The Sustainable Agriculture Project in Riimenze, South Sudan, helps families, especially women and children, overcome war and hunger through climate-resilient agriculture, trainings on farming techniques, better nutrition, small business start-ups, and livestock distribution.
