On 4 December, the General Assembly of Solidarity 2025 was held, an important and well-attended event to celebrate our mission in South Sudan.
We are delighted to share the story of Maria Tuil, a talented 22-year-old midwifery student at the Catholic Health Training Institute (CHTI) in Wau. Having grown up dreaming of a future in medicine to help her community in Warrap State, Maria is now turning that dream into reality. Thanks to clinical placements at St. Daniel Comboni Hospital in Wau, Maria has already helped deliver several babies and is gaining the skills and confidence she needs to return to serve her community.
