Over the next few days, Casa La Salle in Rome is hosting the first International Meeting of the Lasallian Network of Non-Profit Organizations. This initiative brings together organizations and partners from around the world to strengthen cooperation and social impact through the sharing of expertise. Solidarity with South Sudan has the privilege of attending this international seminar as an observer, taking part in stimulating discussions on the transition from synodality to co-responsibility and on the fundamental importance of measuring impact in development projects. The programme also offers insights into strategic planning and the diversification of fundraising to ensure the long-term sustainability of mission-oriented work. Beyond the sessions on the network’s new guidelines and restorative working groups, this meeting is a valuable opportunity to forge new connections within the international cooperation sector. Being present allows us to align ourselves with global best practices and to strengthen the bonds that underpin our commitment to the future of South Sudan.
A heartfelt thank you to the La Salle Foundation for facilitating this essential space for growth and dialogue.
