Education and care: the new academic year gets underway at CHTI

The Catholic Health Training Institute (CHTI) has officially opened the new academic year in Wau, welcoming staff and students to a new programme of training and service.

During the Mass of thanksgiving, Father Gabriel Kuol Akeach, Vicar General of the diocese, called on the CHTI community to dedicate themselves with a spirit of sacrifice to the good of humanity, expressing the hope: “Let us open our hearts and minds to be guided by the Holy Spirit throughout this academic year“.

Activities began immediately, alternating between theoretical classroom lessons and clinical placements in local hospitals.
