Clinical placement for CHTI students: a crucial step towards a professional future

January marked the start of a crucial experience for our third-year nursing and midwifery students: the six-week clinical placement. It was an intense and educational period, dedicated to learning ward management and direct patient care.

The first four weeks were entirely dedicated to field practice, where the students had the opportunity to put their acquired knowledge into practice and hone their skills. The last two weeks, on the other hand, were focused on evaluation, an important moment to consolidate what was learnt and to receive constructive feedback.

This placement represents the last clinical experience for our students, who in the coming months will focus on preparing for the end of the semester and the dreaded ‘Mock Exams’.

We wish all our students a successful continuation of their studies and a professionally fulfilling future!
