I am deeply grateful to my Congregation that I was sent in this mission in South Sudan, my faith has grown stronger.
For me this is a valuable experience of international, inter-generational, intercultural, inter- congregational collaboration/networking/ a strong witness in the complex context of South Sudan.

Today we are delighted to share the story of Zakia John, an extraordinary journey from the silence imposed by gender stereotypes to the power of a voice that now educates new generations. Born into a society that denied girls an education, Zakia had to fight against war, poverty and separation from her family to pursue her dream. Today, thanks to her unwavering determination and the support of Solidarity, Zakia is not only an outstanding student, but a symbol of redemption for all of South Sudan.
