CHTI students: final clinical milestone towards graduation

The path to professional practice is becoming increasingly concrete for our third-year Nursing and Midwifery students. Last January saw the start of the final clinical internship cycle: six intense weeks during which future healthcare professionals were confronted with ward management and caring for patients in acute phases.

The course ended with a two-week formal assessment aimed at certifying the management skills and autonomy acquired in the field. Having passed this important practical milestone, the students are now returning to the classroom for their final semester. Months of intense study, seminars, and exam simulations await them: the final stages before putting their skills to work in the South Sudanese healthcare system.
