An important step for future teachers in Wau

From September 28 to October 9, 2026, the final teaching practicum took place for second-year students in the In-Service Teacher Training Program in Wau.

For the occasion, a panel of external examiners from the University of Juba closely monitored 19 student teachers working at four different schools in the area. The examiners met with the student teachers both individually and in groups, offering them valuable opportunities for discussion and pedagogical feedback.

Since this was the first external exam session organized in Wau, teamwork and collaboration with local tutors and those from the Yambio center were essential throughout the preparatory phase.

The results of the evaluations were extremely positive: the university professors expressed great satisfaction with the quality of the observed lessons, the care taken in preparing the lesson plans, and the dedication demonstrated by both the students and their instructors.

Sincere thanks and congratulations to everyone for the excellent work done and for their constant commitment to educating future generations!
