 On April 2nd, the Board of Solidarity with South Sudan convened in Rome. The meeting addressed key matters, including the financial review of the 2024 accounts and the strategic planning for upcoming events and commitments. Notably, the board also marked a transition in leadership.
The occasion served as a moment to express profound gratitude to the outgoing Executive Director, Father Jim Greene. For six years, Father Jim dedicated himself to this inter-congregational project with unwavering commitment and passion. The Board and the Rome Office collectively acknowledged his invaluable service and heartfelt dedication. Simultaneously, the Board enthusiastically welcomed Father Hyacinthe Loua as the new Executive Director. Solidarity with South Sudan looks forward to embarking on a new chapter under his leadership.
