| In response to the call for greater community presence and educational support in the pastoral region of Pibor, a basic teacher training was organized from March 20-25, 2025. The training, facilitated by Sister Guille Vasquez Rubiños ASHJ, with extensive experience in education and teacher training, aimed to provide 10 teachers with basic teaching skills in preparation for the launch of a new school in the area. This initiative, supported by Friends in Solidarity-USA, is an important step in expanding educational opportunities for children in Pibor by ensuring that they have access to quality learning environments. Indeed, proper teacher training is essential to improving education in communities in South Sudan that often lack any assistance. Let’s help teachers nurture and inspire the next generation!
