Fighting malnutrition with natural supplements

The Sustainable Agriculture Project in Riimenze (SAP-R) continues with the distribution of food supplements, produced with local resources, to mothers with children in the six communities involved in the project: Makpandu, Kasia, Riimenze, Bazumburu, Bodo and Bazungua. This crucial initiative, accompanied by weight screening of children, aims to reduce cases of malnutrition and support breastfeeding mothers by providing essential nutritional support directly in the field. In addition, the use of local raw materials ensures the freshness and cultural appropriateness of the products and promotes the local economy and the sustainability of the project.
