| With a short week’s break, Diploma Programme students have embarked on the final term of their annual course. It is a crucial phase that requires great commitment, as they have to juggle afternoon classes at Solidarity Teacher Training College (STTC) with the teaching they do every morning. Their tenacity is admirable.
This semester’s study programme is particularly intense and varied. The ‘Subject Knowledge’ courses they explore this term include Christian Religious Education, Environmental Science, and English (Professional Writing for Teachers). For ‘Professional Studies’ they do courses like Inclusion, Adult Education, and Whole-School Management. Students also continue to develop their IT skills, which are essential for the modern profession. We commend them for their dedication in tackling this final, challenging stage of their journey. We wish them every success in achieving their goals! To find out more about STTC’s activities, read the latest NEWSLETTER from Yambio!
