More experienced teachers for the future of South Sudan

Recently, the Solidarity pastoral team organized an important training workshop in Maridi, involving 40 primary school teachers from three Salesian schools.

Under the guidance of Sister Guille ACJ and thanks to collaboration with the local Salesian community, participants explored key topics for modern teaching: from lesson planning to Bloom’s Taxonomy, active learning methods, and Salesian educational values.

The results were encouraging: 85% of the teachers have already achieved full autonomy in lesson planning. This success is not an endpoint, but a solid foundation for the future: follow-up sessions are already planned to continue supporting the country’s education system. Together, let’s build a stronger school for future generations.
