Better health brings smiles back to children and their families. Over the past few months, as part of the Nutrition Programme of the Sustainable Agriculture Project in Riimenze (SAP-R), a major initiative has been carried out to support children suffering from nutritional deficiencies in four localities.By measuring weight and using the MUAC (mid-upper arm circumference) method, children suffering from malnutrition were identified and provided with high-nutritional-value supplements such as moringa-based products, peanut butter and soya paste, all produced at the project’s farm. Further monitoring revealed a marked improvement in the children’s health, demonstrating the tangible impact of prevention and treatment measures for the most vulnerable. Find out more about SAP-R’s activities; read the latest NEWSLETTER from the Riimenze Community. Thank you for continuing to support our projects in South Sudan.
