CHTI Success Story- the story of Roseline: “CHTI helped me to become a complete person”

“I am Roseline Edward Anthony. I am so happy to share my life experiences in Catholic Health Training Institute(CHTI) Wau, South Sudan.

I joined CHTI in 2016 and graduated in 2018 as a registered midwife. I cherish my experiences in CHTI as all those experiences molded me well to live as a complete person. CHTI taught me to love and care for one another irrespective of the differences in cultures and customs. The institute molded me to be an integrated person, God fearing and respectful towards one another.

CHTI trains students to have vision and focus on studies. In terms of the quality, CHTI is the best institute in Wau, having good and dedicated tutors and well equipped teaching departments. CHTI provides the students with light, security and a library; not forgetting the food and shelter.

All round developments of students are focused in CHTI as the students are trained in sports, cultural events and leadership training programs.

I benefitted from CHTI with many things and now I am a registered midwife helping my community who are yearning for my help. Without CHTI I would not have been a perfect midwife.

Thanks to Solidarity with South Sudan who are toiling day and night to make sure that all the students of CHTI are well supported for their studies.”
