27 Teachers Successfully Complete Diploma Programme

A major milestone for education in South Sudan! In recent days, 27 student-teachers (15 women and 12 men) successfully completed the Diploma Programme at the Solidarity Teacher Training College (STTC) in Yambio.

The Diploma Programme is designed for teachers who already hold certification and wish to raise their level of training, preparing themselves for leadership and mentorship roles within the education sector.

The enthusiasm was palpable: the new graduates celebrated this success with the STTC community with music, dancing and light refreshments.

These new graduates join all the qualified teachers who complete their courses at STTC and who are bringing quality education throughout South Sudan, often choosing to stay and teach in their communities. In this way, they help to fill the shortage of qualified teachers in the country, carrying forward our mission of hope, dignity and progress.

Congratulations to all the new graduates!

Thank you for continuing to support our projects in South Sudan.
