| During the solemn celebration for the ordination of four new priests and six deacons in the Diocese of Tombura-Yambio, held on the feast of the Epiphany, Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala addressed a message of profound realism to the young ministers. The prelate strongly emphasised that their mission will not take place in an ideal country, but in the complex and troubled reality of South Sudan, a land marked by fragility but also by great hope. Exhorting the newly ordained to shun the pursuit of material well-being and personal comfort, the bishop indicated as priorities the building of a solid priestly fraternity and authentic closeness to the people, inviting them to be humble shepherds capable of healing the wounds of communities and witnessing to the Gospel through sacrifice and concrete service.
