Sometimes just a few tools, a handful of seeds, and some bags of flour, sugar and beans are enough. But what happens next is truly immense!
In Riimenze, South Sudan, many displaced families who have lost everything have been welcomed. They were forced to leave their homes, fleeing violence, carrying with them only fear and uncertainty. But today, thanks to the support they have received, they are rebuilding. We want to share with you some photos from the field: tired faces, yet full of light. Women, men, and children who, with extraordinary dignity, are rising together. The food, seeds, and farming tools provided by Solidarity with South Sudan and Friends in Solidarity have helped them survive and sparked new hope. Seeing the gratitude in their eyes, the trust replacing the initial anguish, fills us with joy. These families teach us what resilience, love, and courage truly mean. They have lost everything, but not their strength. And in South Sudan, that alone is a victory. These images also bring hope to us. Thank you to all our donors. Thank you for allowing us to be part of these small, great everyday Miracles.
