| At the Catholic Health Training Institute (CHTI) in Wau, after a week dedicated to orientation for new students, academic activities for the 2025-2026 academic year resumed on Monday, 8 August 2025. The week began with a general assembly around the national flag. This assembly, which is normally held on the first Monday of each month, promotes collaboration and helps students set goals for the coming month.
As for teaching activities, first- and second-year nursing and midwifery students began their six-week period of classroom lessons. At the same time, third-year students began their clinical placements at Wau Teaching Hospital, St Daniel Comboni Catholic Hospital and Sika Hadid Primary Health Care Centre.
